at last minute, david and i got tickets to a mardi gras ball hosted by spartanburg regional's foundation. we couldn't decline, so we got dressed up and put on our beads, and headed out for a night of great jazz music and the most amazing food! they served amazing treats like cajun macaroni and cheese, fried oysters, a million different mini quiches, and a dessert table with countless heavenly dishes - it was a blast.

we will be heading out bright and early monday morning for chicago... let's pray the rain holds off - and even if it doesn't, we won't mind! i can't believe it's almost our anniversary... time really does fly when you're having a ball!
